Vintage Womens Courreges Style Dress

An absolutely incredible vintage dress dating from the late sixties or early seventies. Made in a poly mix, the fabric has a luxe feel and weight in a quality that would not be commonplace on the high street today and which gives it great structure and stretch. A deep red and black palette makes this dress super striking on. The fit and pattern design remind me so much of the work of Andre Courreges who was in fact an engineer before training in fashion and textiles, He with the likes of Mary Quant were the pioneers of the mini skirt. 

This is the kind of dress that will get a lot of comments and one which you can delight in responding, 'it's vintage'!
